What are a domain and hosting?

Your domain is your website’s address, like yourbusiness.ca. Hosting is the space where your website’s files live. You need both to put your site online. We can help you choose and set them up, or handle the arrangements with you.

What can you help me with?

We offer branding, custom WordPress design and development, online shops, website updates and maintenance. We also help with photography planning, social media graphics, Google Business Profile setup, and LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook profiles. We’ll agree on the services your project needs before work starts.

How long will my website take?

A straightforward website may take around 2–4 weeks. Larger sites or projects with more features can take 6–12 weeks or longer. Content, feedback, and the features you need all affect the schedule. We’ll agree on a realistic timeline with you before starting.

Will it work on phones and tablets?

Yes. We design responsive layouts so your website is easy to read and use on phones, tablets, and desktop screens. We check navigation, images, and forms across different screen sizes.

Can I update it myself?

Yes. Your site is built in WordPress, and we’ll show you how to update the everyday things: text, photos, and pages. If you’d prefer help looking after it, we can discuss ongoing maintenance.

Will my website be ready for SEO?

We include the basic on-site SEO setup agreed for your project, giving your website a sound starting point for search engines. Ongoing SEO strategy, specialist keyword work, and marketing campaigns are separate services best discussed with an SEO or marketing specialist. Search rankings are not guaranteed.

Do I need my own photos?

Images should be yours or ones you have permission to use. Finding an image online does not automatically mean you can use it. If you need photos, tell us in your enquiry so we can plan photography or licensed stock images and allow for them in the budget.

How do you work out the price?

We look at the work you need, the number of pages, website features, content, photography, and any brand or profile setup. Sharing your budget and priorities helps us suggest a practical scope or phased approach. You’ll receive a tailored quote to agree on before work begins.
